I am a shamanic practitioner living in Ashland, Oregon. My philosophy and practice focuses on empowering the individual. While I bring knowledge and experience of the Spirit Realms (according to my relationship to it), the client is required to bring a true commitment to healing and an capacity to accept responsibility for his/her well-being. Only in these circumstances, can a person come fully into their power and walk their destiny in a good and solid way…and not fall into the trap of relying on others at the expense of developing his/her personal strength.

I practice primarily what is known as Middle World Shamanism. In many shamanic cosmologies, Reality is separated into three tiers or worlds: The Upper World, the Lower World and the Middle World. The first two are often thought of as Compassionate Worlds, that is where compassionate beings live (our compassionate ancestors, teachers and power animals). The Middle World is this world that we live in–what Malidoma Some calls “The Market Place”–where energies can become enmeshed, exchanged and otherwise interact in endlessly creative ways. Middle World practices include compassionate depossession, curses or thought-form unravelings, psychopomp work, working with the deceased and the dying, and ancestral/familial healings. As a shamanic practitioner, I work with the Non-Ordinary aspects (that is, the nonphysical aspects) of all three Worlds.

While a practitioner’s capacity can only be measured in his or her relationship to the Spirit World (something that cannot be expressed or proven in words alone), I acknowledge our modern need for credentials. With that, I offer the following: I have trained with Betsy Bergstrom (Compassionate Depossession and Curses Unraveling and Mediumship), the Foundation for Shamanic Studies (Three-Year Program, Two-Week and most of the Advanced classes), and Sandra Ingerman (Soul Retrieval). I have been practicing on clients for over 5 years.
